I felt miserable and full of fear. I realized I couldn't keep crash dieting and failing... I decided to figure out what my body needed and with patience, kindness and determination, I began. I lost a little over 100lbs before we made our fourth military move in five years to Hawaii. I fell into a depression and regained a good bit of that back, but unlike in the past... I reached out for help. After treating my depression, my doctor and I decided I should look into weight loss surgery. Now I'm also sharing my post surgery progress!
